Eco-Friendly Foods was founded by Bev Eggleston. Bev is a protege of Joel Salatin, a renowned agricultural lecturer, advocate and pioneer of small, ethical family farming and raising pasture-fed animals. For many years, Bev and Joel worked together farming and spreading the word about the benefits of returning to healthy farming and providing products crafted from these methods. Bev and wife Janelle recently built a new processing plant to ensure the quality of their meat and poultry products from field to table. They bring their nutritious, bioregional sustainable eggs, meats and poultry to the Dupont Circle FRESHFARM Market and also sell at the Arlington County and Williamsburg farmers' markets.
