About This Market:
The FRESHFARM Mount Vernon Triangle Farmstand is a Saturday morning favorite for residents in and around Mount Vernon Triangle. The festive, open-air farmstand is run by Chicano Sol Farm (Blain, PA), a family-owned Certified Organic farm specializing in field produce. In addition to her own vegetables, farmer Jarrah Cernas hand-selects products from other farmers and producers including: grass-fed meats from Garden Path Farm; pastured eggs from Hare's Valley Growers; farmstead cheeses from Keswick Creamery; jams, jellies, and shrubs from Tait Farm Foods; sweet and savory baked goods from Atwater's and Talking Breads; and additional produce, ciders, and canned goods from Three Spring Fruit Farm and Quaker Valley Orchards and Guest House.
This market accepts SNAP/Food Stamps and WIC/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits and matches what you spend with free Matching Dollars. This market also offers the Produce Plus Program. For more information, visit our Food Access Page.
